Rapeseed oil, cold-pressed

The healthy oil for everyday use

Almost everyone knows it; almost everyone has a bottle of it at home. Hardly anyone knows though that rapeseed oil is also available in a cold-pressed version. The high quality rapeseed oil from Pödör is produced from black rapeseeds and is left in its completely natural state. In this way the healthy substances contained in rapeseed are retained and can have a positive effect on the human body.

Hardly any other vegetable oil has as many various uses as rapeseed oil. It tastes just as good on a salad as on fried vegetables and meat or in sweet cakes. Cold-pressed rapeseed oil makes something special out of daily treats.

Uses for cold-pressed rapeseed oil

Rapeseed oil is one of the most popular edible oils in central Europe along with sunflower oil and olive oil. Its unobtrusive, finely acerbic taste harmonizes with almost any meals from steamed vegetables to fresh salads and sweet baked goods. Due to its fine flavor rapeseed oil goes ideally with a number or fruity vinegars.

A further advantage of rapeseed oil is its enormous heat resistance. That is why this oil is predestined for frying and boiling. Rapeseed oil is also a popular ingredient as a substitute for butter or margarine in cakes.
